CURRENT PROJECTS
My string trio "Grit and Glitz" was featured on the concert by the W4 New Music Collective on September 25 at Exapno in Brooklyn, NY.
An original soundtrack to "The Work is One" (2011) - a documentary by Michelle Pomeroy featuring a blend of Middle Eastern, Indian, and Western istruments. Excerpts from the film can be seen on my reel page.
"Farewell Dream Garden" for soprano, flute, and string orchestra wins the second prize in the International “Music in the Garden” Composers’ Competition Wroclaw – Kraków 2010/2011. It will be premiered in Poland on May 26 by The Orpheus Orchestra.
"Unveiling" for string orchestra will be premiered by the North/South Consonance on June 7 in New York City at Christ and St. Stephen's Church.
Recording session at the Dolan recording studio at NYU in Manhattan of my two new works: "Airborne" for flute, violin, 2 guitars and piano and "Solitude" for violin, cello, alto saxophone, and electric guitar. I will be playing flute and cello on the session.
Recording session with the NYU orchestral session players at the Frederick Loewe Theatre in Manhattan on April 27 - recording the most sensual music yet to the knife throwing scene from Girl on the Bridge (1999) by Patrice Leconte.
